In Plague Inc., you are the villain. You have no other goals in mind but one: become death among humans and wipe out all Homo sapiens. You have no allies here but yourself and it is your job to make sure no human will survive your wrath.

You can choose from different types of plagues to start off: bacteria, virus, fungus, parasite, prion, nano-virus or bio-weapon.

If you’re still new to the game, you’ll start off with bacteria but if you manage to cause extinction, the next plague will be unlocked.

Name the plague whatever you like and place it anywhere on the map. Just remember that the infection and contamination speed will depend on the wealth and climate of the country. Choose wisely.

Infectious Gameplay Like No Other

There is a reason why Plague Inc. has become so viral among gamers both hardcore and casual. It’s the original gameplay that made this stand out above all else. Many have tried to imitate it but none are able to find a cure to the unstoppable epidemic that is Plague Inc.

Evolve and Adapt

Once you start infecting people, you get DNA points. Use these points to spread the plague even faster by using the environment or animals or make it more aggressive by turning it into a fast and fatal disease. You can also try to be more strategic by evolving it into a DNA type of disease and then slowly turning it fatal and incapable of curing.

You have to act fast, though. Once you’ve infected billions, the best scientists from around the world will want to create a vaccine to cure the world. Don’t let that happen.

Plague Inc. Tips and Tricks:

If You See Any Icon, Just Tap It Fast

Whether it’s the red icon, orange icon, or blue icon, just tap on it fast as each of them will disappear in seconds. The red icon indicates that you can now infect a new nation. The orange icon tells you that your disease is evolving while the blue icon prevents researchers from advancing further in their studies.

The red and orange icons will add bonus DNA points while the blue button stops the Cure meter from getting higher. As long as you pop up, pop it down fast if you want to infect the world faster.

Always Upgrade Drug Resistance 1 to Genetic ReShuffle 3 First

It doesn’t matter which country you want to start off with but if you want your disease to spread longer in the late game, you better make sure you upgrade this first along with the skill tree that goes along with it.

Sure, you can go with the weather and climate upgrades but with the Drug Resistance activated, it maintains this balanced infection on both rich and poor countries. Once you have fully upgraded this part, then you can choose others.

We recommend going for the Bacterial Resilience 1 after you have fully upgraded Drug Resistance. And then just pick one Transmission perk to make it spread faster. Only upgrade any symptom if your plague has naturally evolved without DNA points.
