Upon entering the ComNet2 website, you will be able to search for specific parts in “CATALOG-MODEL YEAR” or search the catalog by Newmar part number or description. PLEASE NOTE: Newmar prohibits customers from purchasing and installing LP (or other fueled components) and certain electronic components.
- Enter your True product's serial number to view specific information pertaining to the cabinet.
- First turn the dial anti-clockwise for four full revolutions and then land on the first number in the safe combination at exactly 12 o’clock position. Next, turn the dial clockwise for three revolutions and stop at the second number in the safe combination.
- Cannon American Eagle Series: The American Eagle looks great in any room with it’s rich gold logo and matte black paint. This safe was used only once and has been sitting in an office building since it was purchased. There is no damage to the safe.
- Your safe’s serial number can be found at the front of the safe near one of the four corners.

If you have a safe and are having intermittent trouble opening it DO NOT LOCK IT - call 602-717-5397 for service instead. It is considerably less expensive to repair an OPEN malfunctioning safe than it is to penetrate a locked up container by drilling!
I recommend that you have your safe lock serviced (includes cleaning, inspection, and lubrication) at least once each year. If your safe is used in a business where it is opened multiple times daily then you should have routine safe service every 6 months.
Mobile service to your location for routine safe servicing is as low as $125.00 (one lock on one door). Each additional lock or door is only $35.00 additional.
SAFE OPENINGS:
Opening of locked up containers can be accomplished by a variety of means. Sometime on mechanical locks 'dialing diagnostics' will reveal problems that can sometimes be compensated for and the safe may be dialed open. The application of a machine called an Auto-Dialer can be done as well. The Auto-Dialer process can take up to 24 hours to complete. Penetration by drilling may be the most expedient means of opening a safe.
If you have a safe with an electronic lock that is malfunctioning and changing batteries and sometimes substituting a different keypad doesn't work then drilling is the only reasonable solution.
If you have a locked up safe please have as much information as possible when calling. The name of the manufacturer of the safe, any ID on the dial or keypad as to the manufacturer of the lock, the safe's serial number (usually on a white sticker near the floor on the front or one of the sides) will all be information helpful to provide you with an accurate and reasonable quote. There is a lot to be said for having the proper safe for the proper purpose.
A BURGLARY rated safe is usually all steel construction and is designed to keep unauthorized people from accessing its contents and in a fire would act much like a cast iron skillet on the stove - it (and the contents) will get as hot as the fire - and will stay hot after the fire is gone until it cools down.
A FIRE rated safe on the other hand is designed to keep its contents safe from fire (usually 350°F for 1 hour) however most can be readily opened with a crowbar or hammer or both in relatively short order (1-15 min).
There are safes that are rated for both burglary and fire such as AMSEC's BF series (see the AMSEC page).
